A Meeting Of Two Artists
Over the weekend, I had the absolute pleasure to meet up with a fellow Western Australian artist that I have been following and communicating with via social media for a couple of years.
Jacqui Brown is an acrylic artist who has inspired me since I started painting surfboards 5 years ago. Jacqui has been an established acrylic artist in the Margaret River region of Western Australia for over 40 years.
I visited Jacqui’s amazing studio at her home on Rainbow Caves Road, and she was the most warm, welcoming, and beautiful person - exactly how she comes across on social media. To meet her in person was so special, and we had so much to talk about!
If you are down in the Margaret River region, you need to make time to go and visit Jacqui. Make sure you also have room in your car for some art as you will definitely be leaving with some!
