Every surfboard tells a story

When I first began painting on surfboards, I must admit that it was the attraction of saving an old board from landfill that drew me to using them as a canvas. While that still is very important to me - so much so that I now carbon offset every board for its lifetime by planting trees - I am now drawn to the story hidden in very old board that I come across.
