Falling in love with the art work

Whangamatā Beach is one of New Zealand's most well-known surf beaches, but like all surf spots has it's good days and it's bad days. Just like this board that has also seen it's share of surf both good and bad, and now has been retired as the canvas for this scene depicting a fun, peeling right-hand beach break at Whangamatā. While this might be the scene for just a few days a year, this is the memory that keeps local surfers coming back to this beautiful beach.
