"Underwater Garden" is now available

I am proud to announce that my newest artwork - "Underwater Garden" - is available to purchase in my online gallery. This large 122 x 76 centimetre canvas has allowed me to offer large scale prints on canvas and paper in this initial limited release.

"Underwater Garden" is an acrylic painting on canvas of two Ningaloo sea turtles - George and Emmie. These two sea turtles have featured in some of my other works as well, most notably on their own individual surfboard paintings. "Underwater Garden" pays homage to the relationship between my Nanna Emmie and her first husband George. My Nanna has played a pivotal role throughout my life and I am still mourning her loss in 2022. I never got to meet George as he had passed before I was born but I was inspired by my Nanna's stories of him to represent both their strength and resilience in "Underwater Garden", and also the idea that they are together again somewhere beautiful. This painting is also the last time I will paint turtles on a non-commissioned artwork so it is very fitting that George and Emmie feature on my final turtle painting.

This original artwork would make a beautiful addition to any living or work space. It can be hung immediately or be framed to add even more impact. The canvas prints are slightly smaller at 100 x 62 cm and can be purchased rolled for ease of shipping or stretched for immediate display.

The fine art prints are 91 x 61 cm and are ready for the frame of your choice. The image above shows a mockup of how fantastic they look in a simple wooden frame.

Please note that if you are ordering prints they can take up to 2 weeks to be printed and shipped. I use a local fine art reproduction service - Arts Edge in Edgewater - who provide high quality products and service to ensure that I get the best possible product for my clients. If you are local to Perth then I encourage you to use them as well for all your framing needs!

This original canvas and the stretched canvas prints are offered as pickup only. If you are located outside Western Australia and really must have the original "Underwater Garden" then shipping can be arranged by contacting me directly. Please be aware that shipping costs will be substantial. The rolled canvas and paper prints can be shipped anywhere in the world.
