Indo Perfection
This JS Industries surfboard was surfed hard by a Perth surfer up and down the Western coast of Australia, until a thick Margaret River lip creased the board and ended its short-lived career. Rather than send it on a one way way trip to landfill, it has been instead retired to one of Indonesia’s 17,000 tropical islands, where perfect waves peel in warm water along palm-fringed beaches. And the best thing about this board’s retirement destination? It can be shared with viewers of this scene for years to come as they lose themselves in the perfect tropical barrel that now adorns its battle-scarred deck.
