My journey so far . . .
I have always wanted to be an artist, for as long as I remember, but that dream seemed to be just that - a dream - when I had to leave my university art degree on hold for the birth of my first child. Although I dabbled a bit in painting, it wasn't until after the birth of my second child that I gave into the urge to pick up my brushes and throw myself back into my art. The demands of being a mother to two young daughters meant that it was only ever going to be part-time thing. I focused mainly on custom, hand-painted nursery furniture when I had the time but it wasn't really until after the birth of my third child, and a move to Australia, that I began to find a real pathway into my art becoming a career.
