"Wave Study Number 12"

From time to time, I like to create a study piece on one of the numerous surfboards that I have managed to collect over the last five years. These studies serve as a means to improve my techniques, as well as to try different approaches to surface preparation and mounting. If I am happy with the outcome, I will often sell these studies to give people the opportunity to purchase a hand-painted surfboard at a lower price point than my commissioned boards. This is the first one that has made it onto my online gallery - I have kept it under wraps just for my subscribers, as usually they get snapped up by one of my collectors before I can even post them! Subscribers are getting priority access till the of July, after which I will make it available to the general public.
