Your support means the 'World' to me!

Hi there!

It’s quite overwhelming to see so many people follow me on Facebook from all over the world! If you happen to have seen my post on the book of face you will have seen the many comments I received from the USA to New Zealand, the Netherlands to Malta and everywhere in between!

But I also love the fact that there are so many of you that are just around the corner from me and choose to support local artists such as myself.

The Power of Emotion and Universality

Artwork can often have the power to tap into emotions, creating a connection that resonates with people from all walks of life. It is said that artists who can capture these emotions in a relatable and authentic manner have a higher chance of achieving global recognition. Themes like love, beauty and nature are relatable to individuals across different cultures, allowing them to connect with the artwork on a deeper level. This universality bridges cultural gaps, enabling certain artworks to transcend local contexts and gain global acclaim.

I am so thankful for the global recognition that I have received over the past four years painting these surfboards. Using this sustainable canvas has allowed me to reach individuals from all corners of the world. If you had told me 30 years ago that my artwork would be displayed in collectors homes Worldwide, I would not have believed it.

Supporting Local

Supporting local artists is about more than just buying art. In this day and age, it is still crucial to recognise the artists that are within our own communities. Art has the amazing ability to inspire, provoke emotions, and connect people from diverse backgrounds. But by investing in art created by local artists we create a ripple effect that affects the wider community. Art galleries, studios, framing shops, and local suppliers all benefit from a thriving local art scene. If you buy or commission a piece of art from a local artist you are in turn contributing to the financial well-being of that artist and local small businesses.

If you do happen to be local to me in Perth, Western Australia, I wanted to let you know about some special ‘locals only’ offers on some of my larger pieces for collection just before Christmas! So if you are still looking for that unique one of a kind gift for a loved one that is guaranteed to make their Christmas, have a look at these two beautiful pieces I have available.

Willow the whale shark surfboard

You can currently get the Willow the whale shark surfboard artwork for a special price of $4500 if you can collect direct from my studio in Perth. Normally commissioned boards are $7500 so this is a huge saving and opportunity to get one of my boards!

'Underwater Garden' original acrylic canvas

The original artwork of Underwater Garden is also available to collect from my studio for a locals only price of $5500 ( normally $7900).

If you love these two sea turtles, fine art prints on paper and canvas are also available of Underwater Garden. Browse the Emmie & George collection below:

The shipping deadline has now passed for Christmas so any orders will now arrive in the New Year!

Thank you so much for following me wherever in the world that may be and please let me know if you are interested in either of these artworks.
