"Beam Me Up Scotty" features a beautiful sea turtle swimming amongst vibrant coral, hand-painted in acrylics on a 5ft 6” up-cycled surfboard. Giving an old surfboard a new lease on life is at the heart of what I do, transforming something that might otherwise end up in landfill into a unique piece of art with a story to tell.
This sea turtles name Scotty is a little nod to Scott Reef, one of Western Australia’s precious marine environments. I have recently joined with Greenpeace in highlighting the importance of protecting these incredible underwater ecosystems and the marine life that calls them home.
Sea turtles are such beautiful, gentle creatures, and I wanted this artwork to be about more than just capturing their beauty. I wanted it to help make a difference, too. 💙
A percentage of the profits from the sale of Beam Me Up Scotty will go towards supporting the protection of these beautiful creatures and their marine environment at Scott Reef.

This price is for local pick-up in Perth, Western Australia. Any shipping charges will be calculated separately but I advise that you contact me prior to purchasing this artwork if you do need it shipped as costs can vary significantly.
Most boards I paint are recycled, used surfboards that were destined for landfill. As such, they are in varying condition but this is part of the charm of these artworks. Please note that boards are clean and all rough edges are removed, but these boards are not refurbished or restored or water-tight, and thus cannot be used as a surfboard. They are designed for interior display only.
